Jesus House, City of God Aberdeen is an international evangelical and pentecostal Church. We are a part of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Worldwide. The RCCG Worldwide was established in 1952 by Rev. Josiah O. Akindayomi and is a growing church with Parishes of the church in over 178 countries of the world. Pa Josiah Akindayomi died in 1980 at the age of 71 handing over the leadership of the Church to Pastor Enoch Adeboye.

The Senior Pastor in charge of RCCG Jesus House City of God is Dr Mark Igiehon an Oil and Gas Lawyer by profession. with a PhD in International Environmental Oil and Gas Law. Pastor Mark who is married to Pastor Alero Igiehon and blessed with three children was sent forth RCCG Jesus House Port Harcourt in 2003 to Aberdeen from the with a church planting mandate. In 2004, Jesus House Aberdeen was inaugurated with six members attending services. The church previously met at the Banagask community centre up till 2008.

Many years later, the church by the grace of God has since planted many other parishes in Scotland, the UK and in Europe. The current place of worship (City of God) is located on 20 Holburn Street Aberdeen, AB10 6BT.


We are passionate about our mission of preparing Saints for Heaven, Greatness and works.  As a part of RCCG Worldwide we are committed to:

  • To make heaven.
  • To take as many people as possible with us.
  • To have a member of RCCG in every family of all nations.
  • To accomplish No. 1 above, holiness will be our lifestyle.
  • To accomplish No. 2 and 3 above, we will plant churches within five minutes walking distance in every city and town of developing countries and within five minutes driving distance in every city and town of developed countries.
  • We will pursue these objectives until every Nation in the World is reached for Jesus Christ our Lord.


  • God the Father – Creator of Heaven and Earth, who made man in His own image and likeness.
  • The Holy Trinity – The three persons of the Godhead; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit Three in One.
  • The Virgin Birth – Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
  • The Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ – Jesus was crucified and died for the sins of mankind on the cross at Calvary, was buried and rose from the dead on the third day. He ascended into Heaven and is forever seated at the right hand of God the Father.
  • The Holy Spirit – The Comforter and Teacher of all things who dwell within us, uniting us to Jesus Christ.
  • The Baptism of the The Holy Spirit – This is freely available to all who believe in Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit and is manifested by the gift of speaking in unknown tongues.
  • Salvation – A gift from God through grace and faith in Jesus Christ; that all who believe in Him may be saved by turning from sin to repentance, trusting in His death and resurrection and are born again by the Holy Spirit.
  • The Blood of Jesus Christ – It was shed for us on the cross at Calvary, cleanses us from all sin and grants us access into the presence of God.
  • The Second Coming of Jesus Christ – Jesus will come again to Earth in glory and the dead in Christ will rise and those who are alive in Christ will be translated into the presence of God for eternity.
  • The Holy Bible -The infallible and authoritative word of God given to direct all men and women to salvation.

We usually organise a session for new members where we give them a short introduction into Life in the Church.
